Sánchez serves as mentor at National Multicultural Conference and Summit

UW-Madison's Francisco J. Sánchez was invited by the American Psychological Association's Commission on Ethnic Minority Recruitment, Retention and Training in Psychology to be a mentor at the recently completed 2013 National Multicultural Conference and Summit in Houston.

Sánchez was also appointed to serve a four-year term on the six-member APA Board of Convention Affairs.

Sánchez is an assistant professor in the School of Education’s Department of Counseling Psychology. He started his position at UW-Madison in August, and received an Anna Julia Cooper Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the 2012-13 school year.
