School of Education offers resources to seed global initiatives, research

September 26, 2013

The School of Education’s Global Education Committee is getting the word out that resources are available for those within the School to support global initiatives and research.

And once again, there are two sources of funding available. One is via School of Education Seed Funding, which supports initiatives and innovations that contribute to the globalization of the School's course and program offerings, and of the UW-Madison campus.

In addition, the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research (WCER) is providing seed funding for the 2013-2014 academic year to promote international and/or comparative educational research by School of Education faculty and staff.  Specifically, the funding is intended to support planning and pilots for educational research conducted outside of the United States, or research that is conducted collaboratively with others located in non-U.S. sites.

For information on how to apply for the School of Education seed funding, click here.

And for details on how to submit proposals for the WCER seed funding, click here.

For more information, email Maggie Hawkins, chair of the School of Education’s Global Education Committee.
