Our mission is to advance the career, college, and workplace readiness of youth and adults across education, workplace, family, and community settings.
FCD Classes
The University of Wisconsin–Madison has led the movement to provide training and professional development to those who work in career services. Primarily, our talents lie in providing instruction for the Global Certified Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification and the Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) certification.
Institutes
We also continue to update professionals through our Summer Institutes and annual December Alumni meeting. These events provide an opportunity to network with colleagues and to receive quality professional development training, on new topics every year.
FCD Alumni Workshop
The Alumni meeting is hosted by the UW-Madison School of Education’s Department of Counseling Psychology and the office of Professional Learning and Community Education (PLACE). This partnership was made possible by the generosity of the School of Education Dean’s Office.
