Dr. Zubin DeVitre is a Teaching Faculty within the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Licensed Psychologist. Holding a passion for education, Dr. DeVitre is always looking for ways to enhance didactics. In this pursuit, he has enrolled in various programs (e.g., Teaching Fellow Program, Faculty Success Program), presented on innovative classroom techniques, and was recently presented a national teaching award. He also highly values working with students at differing stages of their academic journeys (i.e., undergraduate, masters, doctoral) and the unique learning opportunities they present. Taking an independent yet collectively informed approach to his work, Dr. DeVitre also enjoys working with various clinical populations and maintaining an active research agenda. His research primarily focuses on South Asian American populations, with a specified focus on mental health accessibility and college student populations.
